Hard-Surface Installations

This tent may be reserved for installation on concrete, asphalt, pavers, decking, or a combination of grass and hard surfaces. After the reservation is submitted, Cheers & Chairs will review the installation surface, site layout, access, exposure, and anchoring requirements.

Additional charges apply only when hard-surface ballast or other special anchoring arrangements are required. Required ballast, additional handling, and related installation services are not included in the listed tent price. Applicable charges will be added after the site requirements are determined.

Customers may be asked to provide measurements, photographs, videos, or access for a site inspection. If the location cannot safely accommodate the tent and required anchoring system, Cheers & Chairs may decline or cancel the installation.

Our 20′ × 40′ High Peak Frame Tent provides an attractive covered setting for wedding receptions, graduation parties, corporate functions, community gatherings, and other larger outdoor events.

This configuration combines two matching 20′ × 20′ tents with a fitted rain gutter between them. The connected design provides approximately 800 square feet of covered space while allowing the tents to function together as one coordinated event area.

Planning Capacity Guide

The best capacity depends on your tables, seating style, and additional event features. Common layouts may accommodate approximately:

  • 60″ round tables: About 64 seated guests using eight tables with eight chairs each
  • Rectangular banquet tables: Approximately 64–80 seated guests
  • Ceremony or presentation seating: Approximately 100–120 chairs
  • Standing or cocktail-style event: Approximately 80–100 guests

These figures are planning estimates, not guaranteed occupancy limits. A dance floor, buffet, bar, DJ, stage, sweetheart table, gift table, or other event features will reduce the available guest space. Because this configuration uses two connected tents, the center connection, adjoining legs, and gutter must also be considered when planning the layout.

Delivery is charged separately. Hard-surface ballast and related installation services are charged only when required by the installation surface and approved anchoring plan. Adding sidewalls may affect the required anchoring or ballast configuration.

The listed 20′ × 40′ dimensions describe the covered area only. Additional level, accessible space is required around the tent for staking, anchoring, and safe installation.

The installation area must be free of overhead obstructions. Public underground utilities must be marked before installation, and the customer is responsible for identifying private utilities, irrigation systems, septic components, invisible fencing, and other privately installed underground features.

Tent capacity and use may be adjusted when the event layout, site conditions, or safety requirements make the requested arrangement unsuitable. Tents are not permanent structures or guaranteed shelters during severe weather. Grills, cooking equipment, open flames, and unapproved heaters may not be used beneath or immediately beside the tent.
